Initial sounds game

Phase 2 letters and sounds, first 6 letters

Throw a die, land on the picture and child says what the picture is and what the initial sound is. If correct they get to put their coloured counter on the picture.

OR

Pick a grapheme card, child goes to the first picture beginning with that grapheme and so on until the last picture. (Use s, a, t, p, n, i x 2 grapheme cards)

Letter sounds

This is a nice site for teaching alphabet sounds. The only problem is the letter 'Z' which is pronounced as Zee. American site!
