Phoneme frame activity with cvc words

Click on these images and right click and save to your computer. Insert into a word document and print. Laminate the frame and the pictures. Cut out the pictures and put a little bluetac on the back. Stick into the large rectangle and the child uses a whiteboard pen to write the cvc word.

Particularily suitable for phase 2 Letters and Sounds

Initial sound bingo

I have just made this for my letters and sounds group. It fits in nicely with phase 2 as it covers the initial s a t p n i sounds

Children have a card with pictures on. You either show them the grapheme card and they put a counter over the correct picture or you say the sound and they find the correct picture and cover it with a counter.

Freebie of the day

This website is interesting. Each day a free resource is added. You have to be quick though at downloading it as it is only available for that day only. I just downloaded a delightful Alphabet E book.
